Christine Helwick

Of Counsel

Christine Helwick is the former General Counsel for the California State University system and provides advice on a wide range of issues for higher education institutions, particularly on Board governance, conflict of interest, policies and procedures, sexual assault, police issues, records access, athletics, First Amendment issues, real estate, land use, privacy and security breaches, student discipline, international study, contracts, construction and personnel. She also provides coaching for managers to achieve successful results. She has participated in accreditation reviews as an adviser and review team member. Christine was the head of Litigation at the University of California for 16 years.
