Natasha Baker to Speak to Campus Administrators at CIC 2018 Conference (St. Louis, MO)

November 3, 2018 @ 10:45 am - November 6, 2018 @ 4:00 pm

Natasha Baker has been invited to speak at the Council of Independent Colleges (CIC) 2018 Institute for Chief Academic Officers with Chief Financial and Chief Enrollment Management Officers, held in St. Louis, Missouri, Nov. 3-6, 2018. Natasha is slated to speak at two sessions:

Title IX: Compliance and Best Practices. Title IX concerns of colleges and universities have expanded from equal opportunities for all students in intercollegiate athletics to equal educational experiences, including freedom from sexual harassment for all. What are the most effective Title IX educational initiatives? Which aspects of training to prevent sexual harassment incidents are effective? What kinds of investigations meet compliance requirements? An experienced higher education attorney will provide practical advice on compliance and lead a discussion on effective responses to specific campus challenges as the regulatory environment changes.

Higher Education Legal Issues Roundup. It is critical, especially in the current regulatory and political environment, for senior campus leaders to be up-to-date in their understanding of key legal issues in higher education. An experienced higher education attorney will offer an update on the ten most important legal issues likely to affect independent colleges and universities in the near future.
