Daniel Handman Speaks to the Los Angeles Times About Uber’s Recent Rough Ride

,

HK’s Daniel Handman is quoted in the Los Angeles Times article titled, “Uber’s bad month keeps getting worse.” The piece explores several recent reputational developments affecting Uber, including a trade secrets lawsuit filed against the company by Alphabet self-driving vehicle subsidiary Waymo.

Regarding the trade secret matter, Handman commented:

“This case is significant because not only does it allege a major effort to take confidential information, it alleges an effort to cover up his tracks. So the question for Uber is how much of this did they know, when did they know it, and what did they do about it? Because if Uber was complicit in this, that raises their level of culpability.”
