Overview

What I enjoy most about my practice is the opportunity to step in when clients are facing uncertainty and bring clarity, strategy, and calm. I work best when I’m closely aligned with my clients, understanding how their businesses function so I can offer practical guidance, not just legal theory. The goal is always the same: solve the problem, minimize risk, and keep the business moving forward.

Baker is an associate in the San Francisco office of Hirschfeld Kraemer. He represents employers in a wide range of labor and employment matters, including claims involving discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, and wage and hour disputes.

Baker has experience litigating in state and federal court and has worked on matters before agencies including the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), the California Civil Rights Department (CRD), the Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE), and the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).

In addition to his litigation work, Baker provides research, drafting, and practical support on compliance issues, workplace policies, internal investigations, and day-to-day employment concerns.

Prior to joining Hirschfeld Kraemer, Baker practiced at a boutique labor and employment defense firm. In his free time, Baker enjoys wildlife photography, fishing, and reading.
