Overview

Jessica S. McLoughlin is an associate in the firm’s San Francisco office, with a wide-ranging employment law practice. She represents employers through all stages of litigation in state and federal court, providing strategic pre-litigation guidance and advocating at trial or on appeal. She routinely assists clients in responding to claims of discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and wrongful termination filed with administrative agencies, such as the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC), California Civil Rights Department (CRD, formerly DFEH), and the California Division of Labor Standards Enforcement (DLSE). She also provides advice and counseling to clients on day-to-day employment law issues, including workplace investigations, employee discipline or performance management, disability accommodations, leaves of absence, and wage and hour compliance.

Prior to joining Hirschfeld Kraemer, Jessica represented public agency employers throughout the State of California. She began her career as a prosecutor with the Alameda County District Attorney’s Office.

In her free time, Jessica enjoys hiking and backpacking, skiing, and playing tennis.
