William Ross is of counsel in the firm’s Los Angeles office. He is a transactional attorney with expertise in mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and the formation, operation and dissolution of corporations and limited liability companies. Bill also has experience as outside counsel for many privately held and public companies, as well as non-profit higher education institutions, on a wide variety of corporate issues, including corporate governance matters, general business advice, executive compensation, and employment law issues. He has written articles on corporate matters and has lectured on various legal and business topics.

Bill is a long-standing member of the Corporations Committee of the Business Law Section of the California State Bar (now the California Lawyers Association), and was Co-Chair during its 2016-2017 term. He has also been a member of the American Bar Association Corporate Governance Committee for many years.

In his spare time, Bill enjoys hiking, traveling, and spending time with his wife and children.
